I'm going with 32, I'd like an alignment of two 16-team conferences with either 2 eight-team divisions or 4 four-team divisions in each.

32? thats a lot of teams, maybe in a few decades IMO. I think 20 would be good for now and the foreseeable future, 10 and 10 in each league.

Southeast is a HUGE whole right now.

Chicago seems to be among the slowest to accept soccer, but we have a market big enough for 2 teams if more people start showing their support.

A 2nd team in New York, some more Canada, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, maybe even Cleveland or Cincinnati...

Indianapolis or detroit are major cities...think they could get a soccer crowd?

Detroit, sure, I just prefer Milwaukee and St. Louis for some reason (watch too much Cubs, lol).

Indianapolis, no.

As I've always stated, I don't mind it as long as the infrastructure and talent pool can handle it. But we're nowhere near that.

I don't want to see a division 2 Fire and a division 1 team from some super small city, that's all.
