If you want the Cubs to sign Cuddyer and to the contract he wants, it won't happen. There's no way the Cubs will give him a 3 year contract and they'll be wise not too. The 33 year old is only good for a 2 year contract or a 1 year with an option.

That's the best I would do.

The Brewers believe they have no chance to re-sign Fielder. They are now paying attention to Jose Reyes.

Tim Kurjian of ESPN.com says Prince to the Cubs sounds like the best option.

Aramis officially not returning to the Cubs, Him and his agent won't talk to the Cubs.

Also, Starlin Castro will meet with Theo in person on Friday.

he'll want a 5yr 25m type deal to get him to free agency imo.
