In my defense the Pacers told me they're already deep at PG and I'd have to work my way off the bench for a few years. I decided that wasn't going to work for me, so I told them "next".

So you're the heir apparent to Nashy now? Damn, you lucky duck! I get to back up Baron Davis & sometimes Toney Douglas.

My 1 complaint with 2k12 My Player is that you can't choose the D-Rose shot anymore. I was $$ with that shot, but now I can't figure out my shot really...

I've only played 2 games (vs. Heat, @ Bucks). 0-2. 61 overall. 7.5ppg. Nothing amazing. How far are you Uman?

My first game was garbage lol. No stats and like 7 minutes of playing time.

Played 8 minutes against the Lakers and held Kobe to 1 point. Scored 10 points and 2-2 from 3.

i'm averaging 10 PPG(maybe its 11 now) 1.5 RPG 3.0 APG as a rookie off the bench for the warriors

had 18 points,2 boards,5 assists, and 2 blocks last outing

my D isnt great but i can post up, shoot the J, and pass it

i hate that rookie showcase thing because even if you play great you dont get picked that high

Since everyone seems to be posting their exploits, I figured I'd share mine.

Made a 3pt specialist PG and I'm about 30 games into the season.

Got drafted #12 by the Jazz. Did crap my first game. Had a much better 2nd game. Something like 7 points, couple assists, and a rebound.

Struggled shooting for all of the first month (like 30% each game, though mid to upper 30s from 3), but still managed to beat Devin Harris for the starting spot because he sucked. Eventually I got tired of losing with the Jazz, so I requested a trade to the Bulls, Lakers, or Celtics. Yeah...

Beasted my last couple games with the Jazz getting around 22 points, 7 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and 3 or so boards both wins. Then got traded to the Bulls in the most ridiculous trade I've ever seen thus far in the game. Me and Devin Harris for Noah and Gibson. So now the Bulls have like 6 PGs and no frontcourt and the Jazz have no PG and a ridiculously good frontcourt. Despite all that, we've managed to win I think 7 of our last 10. We're starting to lose a couple close games though. Lost to the Kings and Pacers due to DRose missing some game winners. Oh well...still 2nd in the conference behind the Heat (they're so OP in this game...and they traded Chalmers for Gortat so they have a legit center now as well)

Right now getting about 41 minutes per game with the Bulls and for some reason starting ahead of Rose (I can't fathom why they would do that), however we close out games together (it's who closes the game that matters?).

Averaging about 14 ppg 3 rpg and 5ish apg and almost a block and a steal. Shooting percentage is gradually increasing, right now at about 39% but my 3pt shot fell off a cliff somewhere and is only at about 32%. Lately though, I've been shooting over 50% and at least 30% from 3.

Does anyone know an effective way to draw fouls? It seems like I keep getting mugged at the rim on some drives.

I saw someone get picked like 6th overall I think. I'm not sure if anyone has gotten into the top 5.

probably because i cant play defense

i had like 30 points 7 assists in the rookie game and i still got picked like 11th

i had 24 points 7 assists 2 steals in my last outing vs the suns..it was a nice comeback win

btw i'm stupid how do you box out and how do you shoot free throws...my FT% is like beyond awful

To box out hold the L2 button on PS3 or LT on 360 I think. Free throws...hold down the right stick and release it at the "proper" time. Go practice free throws somewhere to get an idea of how it works. Each player has a unique release so you have to kind of figure it out for yourself when to release.

Up your free throw rating. xD

Free throws are actually starting to frustrate me a little as well. Early in the season I could get a early or late (like 65% either way) and make the free throw. Now my rating is higher and those same results are mostly misses now. Needz moar practice...

Gotta up my steal as well. Those entry passes into the post are easy pickings...
