If I was the Hornets and Paul demanded a trade to the Knicks.. I would trade him somewhere else. Even I got a little less.

There will be teams out there willing to risk trading for paul if he says he refuses to sign an extension. Like what the Nets did with Deron Williams

They should have put something in the new CBA forcing players to not hijack teams by demanding trades with 1-2 years left on their contracts... Chris Paul honestly deserves to be fined his entire salary for this. The Hornets should have the luxury of benching him and not being required to pay him a dime while they search for a decent trade.

Is there any change in nba rules for the next season? Or power of officials will be the same... A ton of technical fouls called and no emotions on the floor...

Thats the NBA. No emotion, unless your name is Wade, LeBron or Kobe. And only they can double dribble, travel and foul people without getting calls on them.

how long do the teams have to make their moves before the season starts? when is the deadline to sign players or trade them?

edit: nvm. just realized theres no reason they would have a cutoff for trades until the regular trade deadline. duh.

my fantasy league is in a frenzy right now lol. everyone is pumped

Bulls and Lakers lust after Afflalo, I'm told, but it'll take a cap-room team to assemble an offer good enough to get him out of Denver

Well its nice to know theyre trying for Aff. If theyre trying, they must have some kind of a plan to land him.

A growing number of execs starting to believe that Magic will indeed give strong consideration to doing Dwight deal before season starts
