That should be a good move. AJ is a good driver and not so much and asshole like Kurt. He should get some shots at a win.

Nobody's as big of an asshole as Kurt Busch, he's set the bar pretty high in that regard. I used to like him too, up until I saw that video of him being a complete dick to Jerry Punch.

Finch's team ran Landon Cassill in the ride last season and finished 30th in the final owner standings

What the hell is Phoenix Racing, lol? I'm not surprised that he can't do any better though, the dude's going to be a huge detriment to the inner-workings of any team that he's a part of, and all the "major" teams know this. This "Phoenix Racing" on the other hand, sounds like they're far enough down on the totem pole that they're willing to chance it. Don't get me wrong though, there's still a possibility that it could work, Kurt Busch obviously has a lot of talent.

Gordon leads 1st test session

Daytona Preseason Thunder testing kicked off Thursday morning with the first session of the three day gathering at Daytona International Speedway.

Single car runs were the order of the opening session and Hendrick Motorsports driver Jeff Gordon was fastest of the 31 cars that recorded times.

Thursday's afternoon session will include drafting and give drivers, teams and NASCAR a better idea of how the many rule changes put into play in hopes of breaking up the two-car tandem will work.
