Amir Johnson was rotting away on my bench while he could've been earning tons of points so i put him in
With fantasy basketball, points are accumulated over a week's worth of games. Obviously the players you start aren't going to play all 7 days in a week, so it's important to sub them out and get the most points you can get on a daily basis.
I've noticed a lot of you guys haven't been using your bench and have been losing quite a few points because of it. Just wanted to remind you to check your team daily and make sure you sub out players who aren't playing and sub in those on your bench who are playing.

I gots fools worried and quitting already with my stellar team. Nice.
I am a new fantasy player. Can someone explain me some basic things?Or give me a site to read about it.I don't understand what is the purpose of the game. You play against another team for one week.Who wins? And how you win?
Scoring Formats - Free Fantasy Basketball - ESPN
Those are the basic rules for scoring. I'm new to it this year as well, but it's pretty fun so far.
I am playing in a Head to head each category league.
Only your starters stats count each day?Or your bench stats too? What is the difference between bench and Injured Reserve (IR)?Is it a difference if you have one player in SF slot in F slot or in Util slot?I mean i gain the same points if i have Howard in C slot or in UTIL slot?If i have one player and he is starter on Monday,he scores 30 points and i gain some points from him.If on Friday i drop him i will lose his Monday points?
too many questions.lol
Only starter's stats counts.
Players on your bench can be activated at any time before the tip of the games for the current day. Players on IR can't be activated until you take them off of IR.
It makes no difference what slot you have a player in, they'll still receive the same amount of points.
If you drop the player after the game, you won't lose any of his points. Only if you were to drop him during the game would you lose the points.
Ok thanks.
My team is Rubio,Parker,Irving,Hamilton,Pierce,Deng,Bosh,Nene ,DeAndre Jordan,Howard,Bogut and i have a 0-4 record.Should I drop Bogut now?And if yes what player should I try to find?
Can't believe Wade came back last night, it was to late for me to put him in so he got me 40 points but I had him on the bench![]()
