Wow, that is pretty bad. Never want an injury to happen, but if its going to happen, rather it be to a divisional rival's that is a grade A Sox killer.

you have a very weak ass division now, kw needs to strike on something.

Dews, I don't think the division is as weak nor are we as close as you think.

Could the Tigers now be in play for a short 3-4 year term deal for Prince?

tigers will still be ok...but martinez is a huge loss on offense..had over 100 RBIs for them and a .330 BA

This is a huge blow. Aside from the 100+ RBI's he provided, the protection for Cabrera was even more important. He also became the clubhouse leader from the time he got to Lakeland last spring. This is going to a big, big loss for us.

I disagree the central will be the worst division in baseball imo(at least in the AL) the Tigers should still win it by a wide margin.

I agree worst in the AL probably third worst in baseball. But the Tigers would be competitive in any division

No way. They have Verlander and a mediocre rotation behind him. Without Martinez, their lineup gets weaker. This division is anybody's to win this year.
