I've never done fantasy baseball before. This was my first year doing football and basketball as well. All the leagues I've done so far are on ESPN, so that would be my choice, but we could take a vote on which is better for you guys. We could make it a keeper league if we get enough guys this year that stay with it. I'm guessing the match-ups would be head-to-head each category.

I did Fantasy Baseball for the 1st time last season & won my league (kinda hard not to when the other people were mo-rons). It takes a lot of time to maintain a solid roster, but I enjoyed it, so I'd be down to do it again.

I liked ESPN's set-up, but haven't done Yahoo's, so I'm fine with either one.

I'm game. How are we going to do points, H2H or rotisserie? Also, is this going to be an auction-style draft?

Including you? Lol

You doing full 162 games with like a day or two or whatever to set rosters for the postseason? If you're going that nuts you might as well try to recruit 12 or more guys.

I'm not sure. I've got to look at the options I guess. Haha

Right now, I've got it set up as a roster size of 25. You start 13 batters and 7 pitchers. You're allowed 5 guys on your bench and 2 IR slots.

Scoring is H2H in 6 batting and 6 pitching categories.

Batting: BA, R, SB, HR, RBI, H
Pitching: ERA, WHIP, SV, K, W, IP

I'd like to get at least 12 teams. What do you guys think? Anything I should add or subtract? Any feedback from guys who've played before is welcomed and appreciated.

Hell
1) I am in, unless it is for money (yes, I am a recovering gambler so even for little money I can't risk a relapse)
2) Yahoo and ESPN are both good
3) If it is an AL league (10 to 12) NL (12-14) Mixed (you can do up to 24 teams 6 in four divisions
4) Have the regular season end First week of September or so then playoffs
5) I like rosters of 2 C, 1 1b, 1 3b, 1 Corner man, 1 SS, 1 2b, 1 Middle Infielder, 4 OF, 1 Utility, 5 sp, 5 relievers, 2-4 IR spots

I also vote on an auction especially if it is a keeper league. We could do that in a chat room. An auction takes like four hours, but it's about half the fun of a league really. I would encourage a meet up for as many as we could. I'd volunteer my place in Plainfield IL. I have wireless we could hook into and connect with folks. Of course, I need the wife's permission but it shouldn't be too hard to get an ok
