Yeah and I have seen some games lately where -forget who- was at like .741% -so it might be .898 now but what will it be next game?

Flip the net down then -and make the other team have to lift the puck to not hit the pipes to have it count as a goal.... anything

    .899 sv% for emery
    .898 sv% for crawford

both blow. there is no defending this.

also, 2 of emerys goals should have NEVER happened.

Give Salak a shot? I do not want to give up any assets for Nik. Send someone down/waive a useless player to bring him up for a couple of games.

I dont think that is the ansewer either. I dunno what think anymore, even if emery plays well and gets to a respectable sv% I dont trust him in the playoffs. There is a reason he was a "tryout" and didnt latch on with someone else that needed a goalie.

That's the point - he'd be an unknown commodity. Might be worth a shot.

Probably a dumb point by me, but it might save worthwhile assets.

Not a dumb point at all - - it ends up becoming a 'why not' situation. It can't really get any worse.

Otoh, someone could have one of those ambiguous upper/lower body injuries and have to be IR'd.

    Chicago Blackhawks Which one???

That's the toughest question!! Both boys are good in net. It makes it tough for any goalie to see the puck when your D is out of position. They've been giving up them clean up goals or just hard rippers topside of the points. Granted if we had an outstanding goalie (ie. Quick, Lindquist and others) many of those easy topside goals might be saved due to the puck awareness of a top notch pipper. Having 2 just above average goalies makes it difficult expecially now with a 9 game lossing streak. Who's to blame, everyone!! This is the toughest stretch for the boys! Constant support from fans is going to be the only thing it seams. Faith in their once strong play to return. There is a spark in every game but it gets dampened and they can't light that damn lamp, and it all deters them from strong consistency. One of our two net minders needs to find the spark and light the fire under the butts of the gents in front of him!!

Don't kill another goalie by putting them behind this mess.

After the last four games, Crow's going to be the guy for the rest of the season. Like it or not, it's happening.

Here's hoping he keeps staying in the crease. He's much better there.

both of our goalies suck,. Emery is NOT a number 1 goalie. There is a reason he was a try out, he just isnt very good. Crawford isnt any better, and Salak who the fuck knows. Going into next year we are in some trouble as far as goaltending. We would have to move Crawford to obtain the services of any above avg goalie that may be on the trade market. 3 years ago vokoun would have been fine, I just dont trust a 36 year old goalie at this point.
