Fuck yea nice thread dude. I love me the Bowling. Best game i have put up recently was 196.... I wanna scratch that 200 mark. What i need to do is get my own ball and stop using the shitty ones provided at the lanes.
I searched the forum for a bowling thread and failed to find one. So I figured I'd start one up. Post anything you want on here that is bowling related. It could be about different techniques, new lane openings, pro bowling news, beginners advice, expert advice, or even your recent scores from a fun night out. Its such a fun sport, why not post about it.

Thats the first step. Except it takes a while to learn your ball, so don't expect much your first dozen games. Once you figure out just how your ball breaks, its much easier. My last game I played was a 210. I'm gonna break 250 soon.....I can feel it. Been picking up most my spares. Its just a matter of getting the strikes.

Its the only bowling alley here in IC. They have so many bad commercials, its become a joke. I have a bumper sticker that says "I bowl with Roger Lutsky". I'm probably going tomorrow, and for sure going saturday. But good luck. Post your scores on here when you finish.
Went bowling tonight at the Colonial. First game of 165, second of 182......then fell down to a 130 and a 143. Looking to bounce back later in the week.

Well at least you have a good attitude about it. Most people who don't bowl too often hate it after a while cause they can't pick up on it. They don't understand that you can only get better with time. A little bit of friendly pointers never hurts either

Highest game was a 238. I was having a hell of a day that day.

Played in youth leagues my whole life. Always wanted to go professional but could never get consistent enough to do it. Average about 180 when I stopped playing a lot.
High game ever was 244.
Thats a pretty solid average. Nothing to be disappointed about thats for sure. Consistency is the toughest part of the game. My problem is keeping my ball speed consistent. Funny pun inserted here
You almost have to have a professional coach or parent to go pro bowling. But it would be one of the best sports to be a pro in. Not too much fame, so people wouldn't bug you all the time, but enough money and fun to make it worthwhile.

Just beat Ivy down in some bowling tonight. Six games to his two. My high score 214. His, didn't break 200. My low 133, his was 114.
