What a fucking waste of a spot on the bench. Instead, Morrison or Frolik (or Bollig or someone in the minors) could atleast play hockey and give some of the other guys a rest instead of Hossa, etc having to double shift.

This isn't peewees...going out every other shift wears you down big time.

I'd worry more about the lack of pressure we are putting on Elliott

Scott cannot play hockey. He can beat the shit out of anyone because he is a monster...but he can't pass, shoot, skate, hit, etc at the NHL level.

I dont know what the big mystery is. Scott's out there for one reason...actually the only reason he's still in the NHL....to keep the Hawks wusslike forwards from getting the shit kicked out of them. Ideally you'd like a big guy that could play a little but since the other "big" guy on this team (Bickell) is the biggest pussy this side of Burrows...you get Scott.

Pretty hard to do when he only plays 2 minutes a game unless it is a blowout.

Also, if the Hawks are going to roll with Sharp/Toews/Kane...then they really need to get Hossa some help in a big way. Kruger/Brunette as a duo simply won't come close to cutting it when it comes to the second line.

Hayes playing well. Solid forecheck and is getting some nice opportunities because of it.

Might be the end of the road for Olsen here. He has played pretty solid since being called up but his last two games he has had too many turnovers. Real solid future with his size and skill though.

I dont mind him dressing VS a team that has a rep for head hunting, or a team like Vancouver. But this is just stupid. Frolik might not be able to put the puck in the net, and morrison might be old with alot of injury history, but they would still be better. this isnt the dino ciccarelli era. guys TOI are increasing because of this, and I cannot stand that!

If Scott scores a goal or is officially off the team (waived or traded to a blind person)...I'll get one.
