well the Redskins had around 60+ million in cap space. So they still have a lot.

I wont be shocked if they take some of our cap space. We kind of did the same thing with Julius Peppers contract 34m cap hit during the uncapped year so potentially we could lose 14m or something like that because in a capped year there is no way we can afford to have Peppers on the cap for 34m. We gave him a 13m dollar bonus that was soley given out because it was uncapped and we didn't get penalized.

I dont agree with the punishment no teams should be punished just let it go. Players got more money because of it. If any team should be punished it should be the teams who didn't spend enough like they are required to like a Jacksonville.

It is interesting...but I guess the violators had multiple player(s) deliberately rollovered into the uncapped year...so I'm assuming they restructured contracts to have a bulk count against the uncapped year (which I'm guessing why the Redskins had so much cap room this year).

Washington ends up with about 18 million in cap space if they spread the hit over this year and next year. Knocks them down a lot in the FA area.
