Lol... He's finally showing some balls. I'm not a big fan of his right now.

At least he knows that we know that he stunk it up last season.

I think he knows how bad it was last year. He was booed nearly every at-bat he had at U.S. Cellular Field. I'm pulling for him big time. The Sox need him to bounce back and he needs to earn his paycheck. Haha

If he can hit around .250 and bang 30 homers, I would say that can be classified as a success for Dunn. He looked like somebody who'd never played baseball last year. It was almost embarrassing to watch. Even with his pitiful batting average, he still drew a lot walks.

Hell I'll take his career .243 as long as he puts out about 35+ long balls with Paulie.

So you guys think he's gonna get 'it' back this year at the plate, huh...

I'm not as confident. Don't get me wrong, I hope he does, its just gonna take a lot for me to consider him one of our own...

Im glad hes confident, but he hasn't done shit in a Sox uniform.

He looked like he was taking BP with a wiffle ball bat last year.

•Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports expects Adam Dunn to rebound from his disastrous 2011 campaign with the White Sox. The 32-year-old slugger said "ninety percent of what happened was simple, mental."
give me a .365 OBP or better and 35 homeruns.

Him & Paulie could have 70-80 HR's combined. Do it big man.

I have to agree that it was mental, that's why I have so little respect for him coming into this season. It was either that, or he just failed/refused to make adjustments at the way they were pitching him.

He can only go up from last year's dismal year-long performance. There's some optimism there.

People need to get used to the fact that he strikes out. A lot. In 2010 when he had 38 HRs, he struck out 199 times! White Sox fans really need to get that shit out of their heads that him striking out is a bad thing. Who cares how he gets out?

What matters is that he hits home runs and walks a lot/gets on base; which he didn't do any of last year (292 OBP...really??).

As long as he hits 35-40 HRs this year and has at least a 375 OBP, he could strike out 300 times and I won't care.
    Cheers,
    Jeremy

Agreed, Saber. If I had a choice, I'd rather him K than ground out, especially with runners on base.

If you put the word "historically" before awful, you get a more accurate statement. Haha

Honestly, in that park, there's no reason Dunn shouldn't hit 50.

It doesn't matter how many times he strikes out. In 2010 when he had 38 HRs, he struck out 199 times. Get over the strike-out shit. As long as he gets to a 375 OBP and 35+ HRs, who gives a shit how he gets out.
