I haven't been paying close attention to Travis Wood all spring, wasn't he a decent starter for the Reds not too long ago?

He came up in 2010 as a 23 year old and put up some solid numbers. He struggled last year and got sent down to AAA, and he was terrible this spring. At age 25 it certainly is possible for him to right the ship, and soft tossing lefties often take longer to develop. But it certainly isn't encouraging.

They said Travis Wood's bullpens were okay so maybe it's just a psych/confidence thing. We'll see what happens this afternoon but a little stint at AAA would help him out methinks.
