The #2 and #8 choices displease me.

Looks like a 3-hit 16K Strausburg performance

Where would you put Soto?

Barney's an 8 hitter on a good team, but we're talking about the Cubs.

I'd flip Castro and DeJesus, but otherwise we are pretty much on the same page. I just like giving Castro the most at bats as possible and giving him a patient left handed hitter behind him to allow him to develop his basestealing some more. Castro is never going to be a premier stolen base guy, but if he could be a 20-20 guy with the high average that would make him pretty damn special.

Dude a healthy Strasburg could put that line up against a real lineup...

Excellent point. Change that to 18 k one hitter

Of course if it were the White Sox we'd beat the Strasbourg nationals again

you wont win a damn thing with that lineup. 10x8=80 HRs out of your lineup give or take a couple that the pitchers hit. yeah not so good

You laugh yet the White Sox were the first to beat them with Straus on the mound

I laugh because you are talking about a game from 2010 when Strasburg was first coming up and the lineup for the White Sox was considerable different than the one this year. But if you want to talk about the game here was his line from that game: 7 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 10K, 0 BB. But yeah the White Sox lineup would have no problems with one of the best pitchers in baseball.

Still bugs me that Barney is at the top of the order. I know Soto is inconsistent, but dammit...
