Most likely 1 of the best teams UK has ever had. They needed to win it this year. Calipari needed to win it this year.

I have somebody trying to tell me Anthony Davis isn't NBA ready yet & comparing him to Branden Wright.

Now, I don't call people morons very often, but holy moly, I couldn't resist myself this time.

The Lexington Police Scanner has been more entertaining than the NC game. I've been listening to it for about 2 1/2 hrs now.

    Here's a cop w/ 2 students.

I find it funny that the national media has to blow this story up to make it seem like the entire city was rioting, looting and destroying buildings. It was contained mainly to one street. Everywhere else people were pretty well-behaved.

Also, Jason Goff of WSCR is a tool, as is anyone else in the media outside of Lexington speaking on the celebrations tonight. Maybe if these people would step outside their conceited and misconceived thought process and actually visit Lexington they'd see that it's actually a very nice city. But I know that won't happen, so Goff and the rest can continue making themselves look foolish and ignorant by speaking with arrogance while they look down upon the "hillbillies" here in Lexington.

All I have to say is: 2012 National Champions.

I've visited Lexington a handful of times in my life. It's one of my favorite places.

That Police Scanner last night was hilarious though. It was almost like it was scripted.

Davis is ready for the NBA, but he won't be as dominant as he was in college obviously.

I wouldn't compare him to Branden Wright unless Davis fails. Wright had hype when he entered the draft but he should have stayed another year at UNC to develop his game. Big mistake going to the draft.... Which is how I feel about James Michael McAdoo contemplating entering the draft this season.

Well ya, he needs to bulk up obviously before he can really make any type of serious impact in the NBA. He's also only 19 though and roughly the same size as Dwight Howard was when he was 19.

I agree that Wright should've stayed for at least his Soph. year. How can you tell a 19-20 yr old kid not to go make millions in the NBA though? They return to school the next yr, tear a ligament & bam, they're now a 2nd round pick and fighting to make a roster...and will probably find themselves in the D-League for a little bit.

I think everyone would benefit from playing at least 2 yrs in college, which is why the NBA needs to change up their draft rules again.
