    Default When Toews Returns

What should the lines be? Would you make arrangements for Kane to remain at center? Who gets the boot? Will he be able to be effective again at some point in the postseason? If moved back to Wing, will Kane still be effective?

    Discuss.

OK, because his career is over.

It is a matter of when not if, even if it were not to be this season.

The only way you leave Kane and Hoss together is if Kane is playing C. Neither really want any part of LW.

I also think the checking line that has been put together for the past while remains in tact.

    Sharp-Toews-Stalberg
    Bruno-Kane-Hossa
    Bickell-Bolland-Shaw
    Bollig-Kruger-Mayers

If Bruno struggles, switch him up with Kruger and Mayers shifts over to C.

    YES.

This is exactly what I was thinking.

That Stalberg-Kruger-Sharp line has been awesome. Don't want to break it up. Also don't want to break up Kane and Hossa because they've been awesome together. Kane already said he'd be willing to try left wing.

When did Kane say he would be willing to play left wing?

I think that would be a mistake for Kane to play LW. A huge part of his game is the in zone entry on the off wing, which he can do as a C/RW.

One of the beat writers interviewed him and asked about it. He said "Might as well try it out there (left wing), I've played everywhere else this year."

I was thinking it was Jahns. Not sure. Either way, Kane said it.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't seen it but I'll take your word on it.

I think Kane at leftwing would be a mistake. Keep him at center or shift him back to RW.

I agree that it would be a mistake, but that's the best option because I don't want the Stalberg-Kruger-Sharp line to be broken up.

I'd put Toews in for Kruger. Kruger doesn't really do a whole lot for that line in my opinion. That line could take of with Toews in place of Kruger.

    Yeah, exactly.

I'm all for keeping hot lines together but thinking Kruger is a better option than Toews is a bit silly.
