Jesus Christ, Castro.... what an absolutely horrendous at-bat.

But as far as 2013, you can define it as a success or failure by whether we make the postseason, and ultimately whether we win the World Series.

Trade Castro for a minor league reliever with upside

Have fun in 5th place guys.
Axel got that control on his sinker at the end
i think castro should have bit on the last pitch..but thats jmo
David DeJesus is fucking worthless. He runs the bases like the little retard kid in little league who puts his helmet on backwards and runs to third base after completely missing the ball off the tee, but the whiff of the bat knocks the ball to the ground anyway. He has a cannon for an arm sure, but what good is that cannon if it can't be aimed. And he couldn't swing his way out of a wet paper bag with a machette.
And Starlin will be eating his next few meals from a straw. You know, because he completely fucking CHOKED that last at bat away.
Yes, I know it's 4 games in the season. But when is it too early to start saying, "There's always next year?"

do we keep dejesus at leadoff as a hopeful, potential experiment?

LOL at a Brewer fan talking shit. The Brewers have never won a World Series and made the playoffs a whopping 3 times in 53 years of existence.![]()
I'm more pissed about Castro's streak ending than losing in this rebuilding season.
I LOL'd at Milwaukee's defense a lot though.![]()

I was talking shit because you guys were making fun of Milwaukee and shit and then you had a guy saying the Cubs are just as good as the Brewers.
I lol'd.
The Cubs are as good as the Brewers, or actually better. Ryan Braun's PED ass and Ramirez's shitty defense will land the Crew in 6th.
Samardzija is way better than Gallardo and Greinke combined, and Narveson is just a little bitch.

Didn't Stewart say that he was dealing with a wrist issue and would be hampered by it all year? If that's the case, it may be affecting him somewhat.
He had a wrist injury last year that he admitted was still affecting him in spring training. I don't believe he said that it would hamper him all year. I specifically recall him trying to downplay the injury. That said we as Cubs fans have watched how a wrist injury can affect a player for multiple seasons before.
So, how'd everyone enjoy the game?
I had fun even though we lost. Lots of jeers in the crowd.
I moved all over. Son and I had a game of avoid the seat Nazis.
