Bobby Petrino won't return as Arkansas Razorbacks coach, sources say - ESPN

Bobby Petrino will not return as head football coach at Arkansas, multiples sources have told ESPN.com's Chris Low.

The university has called an 8:15 p.m. ET press conference at which time athletic director Jeff Long will announce Petrino will not be back.

It'd be funny if they promoted his brother Paul (former Illinois OC) to head coach.

Can't say I'm surprised by this. He wasn't honest upfront and that really left a black mark on the whole situation. I feel sorry for him going forward.

Arkansas is gonna regret this move, but it had to be done.

After how he did My Falcons, I guess what goes around comes around. But outside of that, I didn't think they would fire him and I thought he should have been retained. But they had a morality clause in their contract with him, he didn't follow that in the schools opinion, so off of that they did the right thing.
