I found it interesting that Olesz did not get called up...could be reading too much into it but it makes me think that he will be elsewhere by the end of the summer, one way or another.
Should be a good experience for some of these young guys. Hopefully none of them play though and I wouldn't expect them to.

Does anyone know if playing Saad in the playoffs burn this year contract wise? Remember, he was returned to juniors after the max number of games. Not that it matters too much at this point.

I believe he has to play 10 total games. Regular season and postseason included.
There was a big debate on this at another Hawks' blog I frequent, but I can't remember the outcome and I'm just too damn lazy to go find it.

You're right and I was wayyy off. He only played in two games. It won't count as a year closer to unrestricted free agency, but if he plays in 8 more, it'll burn a year of his ELC.
