epic?? Last September the whole month was the epic fail cant consider a early April game a epic fail even though that bullpen really sucked today.

In the context of the game where they had a huge lead and completely blew it due to terrible pitching and boneheaded management, yes, it was an epic fail.

I thought Theo's 2011 pitching staff failed mostly because of injuries and bad performances by their starting pitching, not the bullpen.

The 2012 bullpen was partly a Ben Cherington creation as I think he was the one who acquired Andrew Bailey, Mark Melancon and plucked Chris Carpenter away. Not really his fault all of them decided to get injured or just plain suck.

I guess Papelbon kind of had a fail to bounce the Sox out of their would-be playoff against the Rays, though.

That game was awesome to watch this afternoon. Bobby V is a dead man walking in Boston.

Valentine might not make through the season at the rate he is going. It is nice to see this blow up in Larry Lucchino's and John Henry's faces since we probably don't get Sveum if it weren't for those two.

Based on their records so far, Sveum is at least as good as Bobby Valentine
