Meh, I expected OKC to thoroughly whoop the defending champs in Round 1. And let's be honest, Dallas gave game 1 away. As for the Heat series, never expected it to even be a series.
I still think San Antonio comes out of the West. OKC relies too heavily on 3 players to do ALL their scoring. And like you said they lack an inside-out game. The Spurs can score just as much as OKC. They have a bunch of versatile, athletic players coming off the bench who can play & defend multiple positions, and, no offense to Scott Brooks, have the better coach. That will be one of hell of a WCF if it happens.
I think I like OKC so much because I rarely see both Durant and Westbrook struggle simultaneously. I am sure it happens, just don't remember seeing it. Though Fisher is playing well, they do miss Maynor.
3 guys doing the scoring is not a detriment in the playoffs, especially if all three guys can create their own shot. Not having a top level defense is. That might be their downfall.
I am gaining respect for the Spurs...slowly. I want to see them against the winner of the Clippers/Grizzlies series first. Then I will jump on that bandwagon.
I think OKC, LAL and Memphis can beat the Heat in a 7 game series. I may come around on SA...after the second round.
My only concern about OKC winning is that they may not ever stop. I already have concerns that the Bulls won't be the same after this season, the one team in the west that scares me long term is OKC.
And I like Westbrook, he and Rose are both very athletic and talented. For some reason, I think Westbrook would be better suited in Rose's situation and Rose in Westbrook's situation when it comes to their style on the court. Rose wouldn't mind playing second to Durant, he is a bit less selfish. I think Westbrook wants his own team. But they are working it out....

I found this article very interesting, it compares the WWE stars to NBA stars...I thought the writer did a good job and I thought it was a pretty good read. Like any Grantland articles...it's pretty long, but just check it out when you have absolutely nothing to do...lol

Still confused why they didn't feed Granger, and why Hibbert was out in the OT.
