[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCADLj0Y1QE]Leonardo DiCaprio Calls Derrick Rose Torn ACL Knee Injury Stupid [Titanic] - YouTube[/ame]

Roses injury not common in NBA - DailyHerald.comUntil Saturday, a torn ACL was a relatively uncommon injury among NBA players.
But then Derrick Rose and New York rookie Iman Shumpert, an Oak Park native, tore ACLs in their left knees in a span of a few hours. Minnesota rookie Ricky Rubio suffered a torn ACL on March 9.
Several other NBA players who have suffered ACL injuries changed teams not long after the injuries occurred. The list includes Utah’s Al Jefferson, Indiana’s David West, Denver’s Al Harrington, Utah’s Josh Howard and Memphis’ Tony Allen.
Two case studies that most closely resemble Rose’s situation go back a few years.
New York guard Baron Davis is considered relatively old and slow these days, but early in his career he often displayed spectacular athleticism while playing for the Charlotte Hornets. He did all that after recovering from an ACL injury suffered during his freshman year at UCLA.
Another example is Jamal Crawford, who tore his ACL in the summer following his rookie season with the Bulls in 2001. Crawford was a developing player at the time, but he used plenty of speed and quickness to become a reliable NBA shooting guard during the past decade.
There have been comparisons made to Clippers guard Chris Paul, but his knee surgery involved the meniscus cartilage, not the ACL.

Also for those curious:
Bulls without Rose in regular season W/L:
Miami 2-1*
Boston 2-1
New York 1-0
Philadelphia 1-0
Orlando 1-0
Atlanta 1-0
Oklahoma City 0-1
Memphis 0-1
*Rose played in one win against Miami, but was a rather a non-factor and Bulls won despite him.
How much better is Derrick Rose than say....Ramon Sessions? There is quite a gap there. Granted, the average point guard is better now than he was 5, 10 years ago. The position is maybe the richest its ever been in the history of the league. But Rose in ANY ERA would be an elite point guard. I don't think he becomes a bottom-level level guy if he is 90% of what he was.
I don't think you can say that about any top 5-10 player in the league.

You're an idiot. Baron Davis has been in the NBA since 1999.
I didn't say he was elite NOW. I said he was elite at one time you fucking moron.
How about you go back to tricking people into thinking you know something about theology and stealing their money.

Baron not elite? The guy averaged around 20 points, 8-9 assists and 2 steals for the part of his career that he was healthy. Back when he cared, Baron could ball.

If he's elite so is Odom. Elite is best of the best. You are too liberal with elite

Ok, that seals it. You officially a fucking retard. Baron Davis being listed near Lamar Odom last season doesn't mean that at one time earlier in his career(Hornets/early Warriors) season that Davis was not elite.
Baron Davis in the early years of the 2000's was elite. This was post ACL tear/surgery. He was making All Star games, ALL NBA Teams, and getting votes for MVP. At points in his career he was in the Top 10 in scoring and assists(sound familiar) lead the league in SPG twice, etc.
Him being listed near Odom last season as a 31 year old means nothing to the fact that at one time Baron Davis, post ACL tear, was an elite player. Steve Francis wasn't even on last years list, yet at one time he was an elite player.
You don't even understand what the hell is being said.
Go back to misleading your flock.
I can't believe that so many guys are still feeding the troll.
Rose at 22 was not at the 90% of his potential.
When Jennings wins one then we can talk.
