We keep the streak alive by winning a series without winning 3 games in a row.

I just realized that the Cubs and Brewers will be duking it out to stay out of last place  How sad.

As always I'm most interested in watching Samadzija pitch. If he really is a top of the rotation guy. That makes this rebuiklding project a lot easier because that is the bigge3st void in the Cubs farm system right now.

Damn how many good-great pitchers have we missed this year? Dodged Kershaw, and we are skipping Greinke and Gallardo?

Life without Fielder proving to be more tough than the Red Birds without King Albert.

At Least this series will mean something! :smh: 5th is on the line... Seriously though, we are rebuilding, I get it... BUT what on earth is the excuse the Brewers are using for this start of theirs?

No Fielder and they will continue to blame Dino Laurenzi Jr. until further notice.

lol, the Brewers have lost 3 starting players to season ending injuries so far, and 2 others are on the DL right now.

Narveson, Gamel, Gonzalez done for year Gomez, Braun all been banged up and Gomez is still on the DL.

Brewers also have had a tough schedule so far facing Cards 6 games, Braves, Dodgers etc.

Our strength of schedule has been harder...

.This is the most favorable matchup for the Cubs in the series. Hopefully Wolf is as sucky as he has been this season tonight and the Cubs aren't too aggressive. A couple of right handed bats in the lineup neede to gtet going
