    Thankfully they finally did. Now he needs to go there and work on his mechanics and maybe develop another pitch or two. If the Cubs are really serious about developing him they need to keep him down there the rest of the year with maybe a September call up.

    Finally, he needs a lot of work in the minors IMO. The Cubs need to decide if he's a starter or reliever, they shouldn't be shuffling him between both.

    I was disappointed they shipped Spellcheck to Iowa. I thought they should have DFA'ed him instead.

    Too early in his career to DFA him. His contract will expire in 2 more years and then he will be done with football and baseball
