Can a player improve a portion of his game in the offseason? Yes. Will he become an All-Star stud from an offseason of improvement? No. Joakim Noah will never develop a proper NBA offensive post game. If he had one, he would already be good at it. Can he improve it slightly? Yes, but it will never be the best part of his game. With that said, its even more comical to think the Asik can improve to be starting material. Asik is nothing more than a career backup

& just to be clear i fully understand this & was not i repeat was not inferring he would develop a mean post game ....shit if he develops ANY we/he will be better
I don't understand how you think some player walks into the Berto and then walks out better. If Asik wanted to get better, he could have worked on his game outside of the Berto Center. NBA players were getting together and playing ball all over the country. Guys were playing pickup games, holding their own mini camps...you make it sound as if Asik went home, ate cheeseburgers and smoked blunts all summer. If he did because "there was no offseason" shame on him.

But for most of the guys in the league, they spent the extra time staying in shape and refining their games. Rose worked on his postgame over the summer...what did Asik do?

BG is not a star he has been a bench player at Detroit, the 2nd star we should be going after is Dwight Howard but he needs to agree to an extension.

I have no problem with a Rose/Gordon backcourt...but you will need a nice combo guard with size coming off the bench in my opinion. They are rather small.

But then again, when I brought up Rose/Mayo...people told me that was too small...but the Bulls went for it. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies owner doesn't like J.R.

That's what Brewer is for. Brewer can come off the bench for size and defensive assignments. or else B.G can be our perfect 6th man.
Either way would be good to me.

There's also another option named J.R Smith
