Some free agents and some homegrown guys. Again they had some significant pieces they developed from within on that roster with Verlander, Zumaya, Bonderman, Inge, Infante, Granderson, Monroe, Thames, etc.

And that was the issue with the Cubs we don't have those difference makers and the number of guys that can contribute that they had. No one is opposed to using free agency. The issue is that you can't use free agency to build a core for a team.
