If you split it between 10 folks it would be about 30 pages each

Let's get a group of a ton of people together and each reads their part and then sums it up. Then we can all understand. Brilliant, I know.

Except it's basically what Brett just said.

Looking through it, it has conditions set for two expansion teams, contraction, international expansion, and a Global World Series... Wonder if any of these happen.

So I am wading through this thing and found a few interesting things so far. I am trying to decide whether to start a new thread for this to try to keep this more organized or if I should just post random interesting tidbits here. I am thinking the former.

You could probably just post it here and then when we get it organized better we can write a wiki or something.

I read the part about the international draft. that was 1 of the parts that I was thinking of writing up today. to sum it up though there are a lot of things that have to be handled before there will be an international draft.

So I've been reading through the CBA, and I've found a lot of information but I have yet to find the specific sections dealing with slotting. I've seen various mentions of the rule 4 draft, but it is strange that I can't find that part yet.

Sounds like you ran into the same problem I had.

I found some very detailed info about international amateurs, luxury tax, and qualifying offers. Just haven't found the stuff about the slotting for the rule 4 draft.

All right not the most important section but some interesting tidbits about the schedule starting in 2013-
*No more than 20 interleague game against rotating divisions.
*Only one series against prime interleague rival unless they play 2 two-game series in years when not playing that division. In years when the rotating divisions line up 2 three-game series can be scheduled.
*Schedule will contain no fewer than 17 games against division opponents.

Super 2 status for arbitration:
*Player has to have 2 years but less than 3 years of major league service time
*Player needs to rank in the top 22% of players in service time in that category and
*Player must have 86 days or more of major league service in the immediately preceding season
