they opened the show with this now, and rip her to shreds.
I get it, she was bad, she is also 11. radio tough guys!
you make some huge points. You said it very well.
The best is when bernstein gets pissed off at fans during the march madness for pulling for teams that are total sleepers. He will go on for 2 hours about that.
Also, what is the deal with the hatred for college sports? it makes no sense.
hockey- I know FT made his comments earlier in the thread about hockey, but in chicago which is not a national broadcast, only for the fans here, hockey is probably one of the hottest tickets in the city up with the bears and bulls. they know nothing about hockey. the best was right before the playoffs of 2010 bernstein said " no one will care if the hawks win the cup" and he destroyed a caller over it.....hey bernstein, did you see the parade pics? just curious.
its not a sports show, its a variety show where you get a combination of martha stewart, nancy grace, and court tv.
they opened the show with this now, and rip her to shreds.

Don't really want to make a new sports radio-related thread, so I will post here:
This morning on Mike&Mike they had Colin Cowherd subbing in. Cowherd said that if Eli Manning retired today, he would be a HOFer because he has two Super Bowl rings and because he's spent his entire career playing in the "most well-funded division in football". Great stuff. He tried to argue that the NFC East is the toughest division in football, but since it isn't, he then changed tact and cited that Manning plays in a division with Dan Snyder and Jerry Jones....who are two of the most inept owners this past decade (aka during Eli Manning's career)!
I've never listened to Colin Cowherd before, and I have zero intention to after hearing him this morning for about 2 minutes.
Here's another gem of an article by Bernstein.

Nice comment by Tyler:
It isn't that I'm disagreeing with you, but I can't help but notice you spend an inordinate amount of time hating sports. Why are you in the field? You seem set upon proclaiming all that is wrong in athletics. No one forces you to have to be a part of this entertaining aspect of life, so why do you choose to be a part of it? Your negativity is astounding! While it is admirable that you took a stand against Penn State and 15 years of child rape, the other aspects of your focus are troubling. Rather than enjoy a Sox team that is enjoyable to watch and a surpise 1st place team, you bash Hawk, Beckham and anything else you can find. While most enjoy the Olympics and enjoy the stories, you can't help but fine the things wrong with it including statements such as "for two weeks we pretend we care about .. (name sport)". For many of us, we DO enjoy it. But then, for most of us, we enjoy life. You seem to spend most of your day angry, upset, and obsessed with what you don't like about things; it is terribly sad to see that in any human being.
Maybe you would prefer a different profession. You don't seem to enjoy sports very much.
Again, not that your point isn't valid in this article, but one wonders why you never seem to write or talk about things you might enjoy. Sports are meant to be something to fun and be a diversion from real life. You seem to miss out on the fun of it all.
I hope you never find out LeBron, a player you embrace as others generally dislike for his pre-celebration of several championships, also doped at times. He is a physical freak of nature, too. He seems to be the only athlete that is great that you stick up for -- I hope you don't lose out on that one thing you can enjoy in sports.
I occasionally watch Dan Patrick..
bumstein with further proof he's a worthless, racist pile of shit.
Also note that Jeffrey Ross (comedian) on the Roseanne roast dressed up as Joe Paterno and made jokes about showers. I am pretty sure Dan Bernstein the 4'4 midget will talk about this the entire show.
so here is what is going on today....
1) 60 mins on making fun of hawk and the comments made 2 months ago about viciedos swing....yes they are still talking about this.
2) olympic athletes all juiced
3) piss poor bears talk
4) making fun of all national guys for not calling out steroids
More about Sandusky![]()
dan bernstein is now a vet as well. add that to his resume of being a DR, Lawyer, Chef, and moron
This thread has been around for months and somehow I missed it. It simply amazes me that Boers & Bernstein can draw enough ratings points to be a money maker for WSCR. They exist to humor each other....mostly by trying to embarrass the very people who make or break their show. The funny thing about radio, particularly talk radio is that the hosts have complete control....they can cut you off, hang up on you and just basically do whatever they want to make a caller look foolish. I've never met Bernstein but I have met Boers at one of the Bowleramas years ago....not surprising at least to me was that he was a big wuss who spent the whole day clingng to wife/girlfriend and generally stayed pretty much in hiding. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Bernstein was the same way. Gotta love how rough & tuff they are hiding behind a microphone....a little different if they're looking at you face to face.
