Can the Nationals go to the World Series this year? I had them in the playoffs this year but I would go as far as putting them in the World Series this year. Thoughts?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  2. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Chicago State Cougars
  2. DePaul Blue Demons
  3. Illinois-Chicago Flames
  4. Loyola Ramblers
  5. Northern Illinois Huskies
  6. Northwestern Wildcats
Rangers gonna win, but Trout vs. Harper would be cool

S'okay, it's a nifty discussion and until they get to the postseason I guess it's just a rumor anyway

I'll move it with an OT tag.

If they make it out of the tough East division, they certainly could make some noise. They certainly have a playoff rotation. It is questionable if they can score enough, but they would be a fun team to watch in the postseason.

It's a small sample but they did just own the Red Sox (with a little help from the umps) this weekend and the Blue Jays tonight. The team seems legit.

Werth will be back in time right? and Morse is just coming of the DL so if he returns to last years production, that will be a huge boost

Makes me wonder how they'll handle the Strasburg situation. Apparently that 160 innings pitched limit being thrown around all season isn't necessarily true but most people agree he won't go too far past that.

Yeah it is awfully easy for teams to say they will shut guys down or limit their innings, but in the middle of a tight pennant race I am guessing that he will get his work.
