Still like to see him some time this yearIowa Cubs@IowaCubs
Josh Vitters leads off the 6th with a solo HR! Iowa now trails Round Rock 6-3.
Me too. But I was told, Team Theo is not high on Vitters and don't look at him as a player for the future. They may just wnt to keep him in Triple A.. As they think that's where his nest value will come from and if the Cubs ever decided to go for a top player, he can be a min pice in a trade.

Rizzo is still doing well.
AZL Cubs start play today. Anxious to see Vogelbach, Maples, Penalver and crew.
I thought I read a Goldstein tweet that he would be ready for the start of their season.
Edit: yeah here it is: http://twitter.com/Kevin_Goldstein/s...66847507812352
Cooool...
That is good news. Wish we had something that wasn't nearly a month old to confirm that he still on pace, but getting news about guys down in rookie ball is hard sometimes.

Ask and ye shall receive. According to this article at Cubs Den Maples and Johnson have both been assigned to AZ rookie ball.
Also I learned that I have new favorite Cubs prospect to follow in Joseph Zeller. Didn't realize we had a knuckleballer. He got sent back to Boise which means I might be able to watch him now.

And he's not even a top 7 prospect in this organization IMHO

Well Szczur went last year, and has had an off year for the most part. Rizzo might not be in the minors when the future game is played, and Jackson's numbers are pretty meh as well. Ha hasn't exactly been lighting it up, but I suppose the World Team might have been light on OFs or something.

If Candelario keeps hitting like he has been he will be in it in the next couple of years.

Candelairo has been getting a lot of buzz recently. He still has a long way to go, but a promotion to Peoria this year wouldn't be out of the question if he keeps hitting I am guessing. The questions with him are will the power develop and can he stick at 3B.
