LOL both Byrd and Bowden got DFA'd so that was basically a space-clearing trade for both sides....

Amazingly, the Cubs have still managed to score 3.69 runs per game up to this point, probably helped by the periodic blowouts more so than consistency.

A bit of quick math gave me the following numbers, with 99 remaining they have to finish at least 39-60 the rest of the way...or they tie the 62' and 66' clubs at 103 L's.

At the moment the Cubs are four games below their Pythag win expectation so they've been beset by some bad luck it seems. They would unfortunately have to play almost .500 ball to have a shot at 70 wins.
