The guest conductor thing started out great in 1998 when they were getting A list celebrities on a regular basis. Since then it's gone downhill. While they will get a big name now and then, the vast majority of guest conductors are people noone has ever heard of. And they usually know nothing about baseball.

Have Len or Bob or both sing it on a regular basis and do away with the guest conductor thing.

I've said for a while you get Bill Murray to show up and do it on opening day and any playoffs, and then fuck televising singing the 7th inning stretch the other 80 home games.

The awkward interviews before on radio and after on TV have only been getting worse and worse. I really, really tired of the gimick, but it makes them money so it won't go away.
