Now decided to leave Schaumburg, but will be going to Wish Field for the DePaul soccer game before heading up to Wrigley on the Wednesday.

One other question....do either the White Sox or Cubs do a game day programme/magazine?

Yeh it looks a pretty cool ground, like English step 4/5 level. Obviously being british another football (soccer, but come on..there's only one football) game onto out schedule is perfect

Also booked onto the Wrigley Field Tour for the Wednesday before the game begins. That should be another great experience and an unbelievable day

Right guys, probably my last post on here before we go. Only 11 days now till we travel to London for our flight! can't believe how time has flown- very, very excited!

We now have a full schedule, doing allsorts like the Lincoln Park Zoo, Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier and Harray Caray's, Oak Street beach etc. Sports schedule is:

Aug 26th- White Sox v Mariners
27th- Cubs v Brewers
29th- De Paul Blue Demons Soccer v WIU Soccer + Tour of Wrigley Field + Cubs v Brewers
30th- Tour of Ryan Field
Sep 1st- NIU v Iowa @ Soldier Field
2nd- Fire v Houston Dynamo
4th- White Sox v Twins

All worked out fantastically well in the end. Cheers for all your advice and tips!
I'll be sure to let you know how everything went and give links to the hundreds of photos that I take!

The White Sox are favored to beat the Mariners as they are one of the worst teams in baseball but don't put it past the Sox to blow it but in all seriousness you'll have a great time, sox baseball at the Cell is a great experience

Oh right haha! I saw they lost Ichiro the other month...pretty gutted as I'd have loved to see him play! He's one of the few players that a lot have heard of over here.

I'm sure I will! Better than watching City lose at Rotherham again
