They need centers, and I hope they sign him away from the Bulls. His defense is great but watching him on offense is painful

His legs have gone to concrete. I don't think his playing career is going to be very long, unless he somehow finds a solution or a trainer that can help him recover some of his leg speed, that we once saw from him.

But that would also give us a center gap. If Omer is the best available(and not just thinking along the lines of "grass is greener" with someone else), then we need to make sure he doesn't just walk for nothing, or attempt to keep him for a reasonable contract. Who is out there, that can be signed for a reasonable contract, and actually help this team develop in an off-season.

i would be surprised if they get him, though they have enough pieces to make the trade

howard's on the last year of his contract, so they'd have to try to get him to stay in houston, otherwise they're wasting long term assets for a large rent

If they want Omer I would wonder if we can at least do a S&T for Courtney Lee just so we can have a SG that can actually do something.

Getting Kevin Martin would be great, but I don't see a single chance of that happening.

And if they don't accept the trade? You are left with a 8M contract bench player. Taj deserves that money. 4 a year for Asik would be a lot of money. 8 a year...You must be stupid to give him that much. Good luck Rockets!
