That would be smart for the Orioles and wouldn't affect the Sox too much.

Why don't they just go after Fonzie? He'll be cheap and still can play the field. I just don't more teams not needing Fonzie. I still say the Indians are the team to trade for Soriano.

Because

1) No he can't play in the field. He's not very good in the field

2) Thome is the better pure DH addition and is probably cheaper

as a dh im taking thome all day long.

soriano is ok, just as a dh. those knees are bad as they mention over and over again on the cubs broadcast how he is playing through pain (which i think we get)

He's not as bad in the filed.. He can play in the field if needed, while Thome can't. Soriano is the better DH. He has 15 home runs since Mayb 15th and 8 in June.

No. And like I said, Thome is cheaper.

Doesn't matter because Thome to the O's is official. I don't see anyone trading for Soriano. That contract is fucking crazy.

too streaky. playing everyday thome will get on base and a higher clip. not saying soriano isnt valuable to an AL team though.

The broadcasts everyday about how great soriano has played in the field is a method to increase trade value. #littlethingsMLBteamsdo

The contract in crazy, but the Cubs will py most of it. The Cubs could pay all but 2 million of the contract. If the Cubs do that, he'll be able to be traded.

Jon Heyman said the Rays look like a good fit for him, their DH output has been bad. Matsui who's been dh'ing, is batting .170 or something. Luke Scott will then play the field.

That might be a smart move. But you mentioned Cleveland before and that would never happen. Cleveland doesn't need a DH.

Travis Hafne ris on the DL and who knows if he'll come back and how effective he will be.
