Hey good for them, they need that in the State of Hockey, but now I am pissed because ticket prices are gonna be high again (I'm going to be attending the U of Minnesota)

I didn't expect either of them myself, but I did expect that we'd do SOMETHING of note, and by "of note" I don't mean so stupid (signing Oduya to massive money, signing a nobody 6th/7th defender) that it's noteworthy because of its utter retardation.

I'm happy they didn't end up in Detroit for damned sure.

Combine those two with Heatley, Setoguchi, and Koivu and that's suddenly a decent squad up there in Welfareville.

This hurts the Wings some too. Which helps our chances in the division, obviously.

I think the best thing about this situation is that Nashville now has a HUGE hole to fill and Detroit still hasn't found a way to replace Lidstrom.

Sure. I can see why some people holding out hope for Bowman. I guess I feel that his agenda now is to acquire role players to surround the core. The problem is, I believe the Blackhawks need another piece to their core.

Hmm, the same Blowman that gave away Soupy for hot garbage?

Gaping hole(s) on defense. That trade has worked out well.

Didn't we have to move Campbell because of the salary cap?

Moreorless.

The Blackhawks had space though after the trade and decided not use it for whatever reason.
