The ball is flying today. I'm thinking slugfest. Cecil has a 5.64 ERA....

Agreed. The ball jumped off De Aza's bat. And we saw what happened in the top half of the inning.

I hate leaving runners in scoring position. especially with two outs.

So...something I was just thinking about. Konerko and Dunn were one of the best 3/4 combos earlier in the year, but recently they haven't been good at all.

I realize that not every player is going to keep up a .400 BA all year, but Paulie has been struggling lately. Dunn has been good, but there's always those strikeouts. I think the talk of them being the best was a bit premature because they were both doing so well. I also think that they are still one of the better ones, just not as good as a lot of people talked about.

Floyd and Axelrod are both terrible about forgetting about runners.

Well now that he's given up a homer to basically everyone, he can settle in. RIGHT?!?!

Ump took the bat right out of Rios hands there. Terrible.

Great time at the game today despite the loss.

Sat one row in front of where Paulie hit the slam in the 05 WS.

Positives
Youk, Alexei, Rios

Negatives
Axelrod & the awful front end of the pen, Dunn, Flowers

btw, it was awesome to see Robin unload on that joke of a home plate umpire.
