Default Bulls Target Ex-Raptor Jerryd Bayless

    Article

He was/is my favorite from all the options we had.

No Kirk,no Fisher, no old ex players. A young underrated PG/SG who can play as a SG when Rose is back..

    I beg to differ.

Bayless is who I felt we should have targeted from the beginning. He's young (only 23), plays PG & SG, quick & athletic, & shoots with range. He would be a very good pickup. If we can get him & Lee, it's been a fairly successful offseason imho.

I'd be okay w/ Bayless. Would be interesting to see him and Teague in the same backcourt. sounds like a shit load of turnovers. ha.

Teague cut his TO's down significantly as the NCAA season progressed last year. He's going to turn it over for sure in the Show but I'd rather have Teague & Bayless on the bench than a couple old fill-ins who will be gone in a year.

Oh yeah, me too. especially if we can get Bayless on a 2 or 3 year deal so he can get the flow of the offense...but, the problem I see is that when Rose comes back, we've got 3 PGs, and Rip at the 2. I'd love to think Bayless can play full-time @ the 2, but it's not very realistic.

I don't think he has to. From what I've been hearing, it's us or the Pacers for Lee & the Pacers are making a hard push for Mayo. If we can orchestrate a S&T for Lee, then Bayless will become the combo guard off the bench, filling in whichever spot is needed.

One thing's for sure. He's a hell of alot better than Willie Fucking Green.

Well, can't be worse than Scamilton was for us last year.
At least this Bayless guy will suit up and play.

He's not that bad at all, better then Pax standing pat.

This is definitely a guy I wouldn't mind having on the team. Always liked watching him play.

    Bring him in!

Which pretty much guarantees they won't sign him.

Honestly, it's either him or Courtney Lee. We have to get at least one of them to look like we're at least trying to improve...

He'd be a great pickup, but there will be other teams that can and will offer him a lot more than what the Bulls can offer him.

I wonder if people tend to forget who is running the Bulls franchise.

Forget about Bayless, Pax is in charge.

He can't even sign Kirk, LMAO.
