Dude is pretty locked in right now, and throughout his career he has crushed lefties. I suspect that he will find a new home in a couple of weeks for something small.

His career numbers suggest he could be a useful player in a platoon situation.

Maybe on a team not like the cubs who are rebuilding but thats just my opinion...im not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to baseball

You are right that Jeff Baker doesn't have a spot in the future of the Cubs, but it isn't like he is taking playing time away from a legitimate prospect either. If a team offers something small but useful he will get moved. If not then he will play the string out this year.

Johnson was off on contact. It is unfortunate, but that really isn't a TOOTBLAN in my eye.

Castro came very close to another HR that would have blown this game open. Still nice to put up a crooked number against a guy that usually dominates us.
