Brett I'm voting for you despite your having Kris Humphries at SF.

You can hate on Kris all you want, but a guy off my bench with his ability to shoot and play D is sweet.

What world do you live in? Kris Humphries is a mediocre shooter at best, nothing special at all. Defensively, he set a career high in blocks last year, I suppose that gives him something, but it's not like he's a defensive monster. Now if you had said rebound and hustle, I'd agree with you.

His per 36 is very nice off of the bench Wouldn't rebounding, steals and blocks be defense?

and he's what...all of 26 years of age and coming into his own. I'd be willing to say he'll be a contender for the next few seasons as a 6th man. Remember he's not getting that many minutes anyways.

extrapolating those stats at face value doesn't necessarily give you a good picture of a player's defense

look at scouting reports and watch some games

humphries is not known for his D, i dont think he's awful but he's not good

humphries is also not a great shooter...he does have a decent 15-18 foot(shot 41% on 2.7 shots from that range) shot..but this is not something humphries really prides himself on that much

he's hustle, interior offense and cleanup, and rebounding..that's what humphries is known for

And that's where you're totally wrong. As Code said, he averaged pretty much 35 minutes a game last year....as the FULL TIME STARTER at PF for the Nets. He's going to do the same next year...and the year after that.

Now if you're talking about the redraft for whatever reason then I suppose that's a slightly more true statement in that he's not getting that many minutes, but I doubt he's a 6th man candidate.
