Yeah they were both there, but I am guessing Coleman is going to Iowa until Dempster is actually traded.

Unfortunately, for all their faults, the Cardinals still have a good offense. Something had to give.

He got out of it though. Pitch count's a bit high.

Some tough pitches for called strikes.

Lots of line drives and lineouts. This game could be much worse.

Doesn't seem like he has that good splitter tonight. A few of those have been left up and just hasn't been as sharp as we would hope.

Whenever the Cubs have threatened Lohse has thrown a perfect pitch for a looking K tonight.

Not a story book ending if this is indeed his final start.

It's not his fault his team can't score for him. If you can hold the Cardinals offense to four runs you've done okay. Naturally you wish he could've thrown a shutout, but that's what it is...wishful thinking.

I didn't think it was bad, but it just wasn't the storybook ending that the last couple of games at Wrigley would have been is all I was saying.

A storybook ending would involve a World Series hoisted in Wrigley Field. Everything else is in the eye of the beholder.
