they were playing well for a while and seemed to have some good talent on the team. Now Carlos Lee blows so I understood that, but happ was a weird move. I guess they are doing the transistion to the AL.

he was closing for the Astros, i doubt he will start. 8 rookies in the pen. Crain comes back monday so it will be Myers,thornton,Crain as vets now in the pen which is big.

The vesting option makes this interesting. Wonder if the White Sox will make Myers the de facto closer (only needs 16 more games finished to vest) or if they keep him as a setup guy.

Reed has been doing the job, but there has been nail bitters. That comes with being a rookie. I think they keep Reed closing though, and Myers probably sets up.

First off, HATS OFF to KW! It seems minor on the surface but this is a massive move for the W. Sox. The bullpen needs as much vets as they can get in that bullpen right now. Also gives us the possibility if needed for a started if given 3-5 weeks to stretch out.
Secondly, I think you have to keep Reed as the closer unless he completely Marmol's it and there's really no sign of that.

According to Heyman, they're getting money for 2013 too, so that may change things, but I'd still say Reed closes.
