dempster just left wrigley and was asked about tomorrow. " Im planning on pitching tomorrow night "
will there be a surprise team?

I think the surprise is whether Sori is involved or not. That could get real dicey with both of them having to agree to go.

Brett Jackson could be in a package with Dempster?
Depending on what happens with Pence and Victorino, the Cubs may end up losing all the leverage here in trying to package an OF with Dempster to LA.

Says their are three suitors for Dempster and basically is playing the Dempster is holding out for LA til the last second but will cave if their a deal to go to a contender angle. Not sure if I buy it, but the other suitors are the Rangers and Yankees.

Dodgers are close to get VIctorino fro Lindbloom and another prospect (hope for Phils sake the 2nd player is the big one). Can pretty much rule out the Demp-Sori LA scenarios now.

Heyman says the Yanks aren't in on Dempster. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/blog/jo...in-a-staredown

Stark also saying the Yanks are shooting down interest in Dempster. Danny Knobler correctly summarizes the more the Cubs float other teams being interested in Dempster the clearer it becomes that LA is the only option.

Josh Lindbloom and Ethan Martin is the return for Victorino.

Rosenthal is saying that the Dodgers had two big deals that are unlikely now but also says that Dodgers remained focused on Dempster.

Well the Dodgers seem to be heavily involved on Dodgers according to the national guys on twitter. I am wondering if the Dodgers real offer for Dempster (and no I don't mean Reed, Lee or Webster) is going to be made now that they've got the bullpen arm and bats they wanted. Garrett Gould and Aaron Miller has been my prediction for a while.
