Looks like Urlacher is sitting out his 4th practice in a row.

I know that his injury could have happened at any time, but I have to question why the Bears let him hobble in Minnesota on that last game of the year.

I guess that clears the way for Sanzenbacher, unless Summers or Golden thoroughly impress. I doubt they'll edge Dane, though. Especially since I've been reading he's been impressive in camp.

I've heard differing things. Last week on his show Your Boy Roy said he hasn't seen much from Wootton in camp. But then I read a few tweets and things that mentioned that he seemed quicker and better than he had before and looked good. So I guess we'll have to wait for preseason to judge for ourselves.

John Clayton is reporting Webb won the LT starting position, Williams will be the swing tackle... err... bench warmer.

If Williams wasn't showing enough to beat out Webb, he's actually pretty valuable as a backup. With Carimi's reps being limited he's getting reps at right tackle. Having a swing tackle who can also play guard is a nice luxury to have if injuries strike the OL.

Unfortunately, he has given poorer performances in the past. Bears must shore up the left side, or it will be one and done come January...assuming they get that far.

I do agree that Carimi and Lance need to have good performances on the Right, the two concerns I have are the play of Webb and Spencer, both played poorly on the left. The Spencer issues are unexpected as he played fairly well last year on the right in place of Lance.

Oh, hey, Colin Cowherd just picked the Bears to win the Superbowl... I don't know if I should cheer or cry. Peter King didn't go as far as to say the Bears will win the SB, but he did say, with the caveot of the O line LT issue, the Bears have a legitimate shot.... Specifically Peter King pointed at Alshon being NFL ready in practice.

Using Spencer at LT was a failed experiment, he's a RG period. The fact it was even done should be cause for concern b/c it indicates there is nobody capable of starting at the position.

There is so much wrong in this statement.. I don't even know where to begin so I wont.. I'll just point out that your assessment based on 1 pre-season game is well overblown.
