vaughn mcclure ‏@vxmcclure23
Webb still holding his own at left tackle as Williams continues to spell Carimi at right tackle.

Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs
We'll see what is said after. practice but could be J'Marcus Webb has won competition

Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs
Will not be surprised if LT deal is decided because Tice wanted to act quickly

J Webb Nation seems to have won, as it should be.

“It’s definitely not over. It’s Day 4 in pads, and it’s definitely not over,” Webb said. “Coach (Mike) Tice just wants to see improvement every single day. I’m not sure (whether Williams will work with the starters again at left tackle). That’s up to Tice and how he feels about it. I’ve just got to take it for what it is and keep grinding.”

oh and Lovie was being a smartass
“We have a system and a rotation that we are looking at,” Smith said. “We want to get a good look at everyone, and that’s what we’re doing right now. Guys, six practices in, don’t look into too much right now, (but I) expect it’s safe to say Jay (Cutler) is going to start at quarterback.”

This is something that really scares me about this team. The O-Line should have been set in place from the start of camp, it needs to jell. The Lt should have been an after thought when camp started. I hope for Jays sake that we get this LT thing right, it is so important for Jay's confidence

Lovie Smith on picking a starting LT: "We just keep going through it. There is a process we go through." That is code for Webb is the guy.
Chris Williams still getting 2nd team RT, James Brown (I Feel Good) still getting 2nd team LT.

*sigh* If we don't get any continuity in training camp, then how can we expect it to be any different when the games count?

:smh:
