Quintana was given an extra day of rest so Liriano moved up to Sunday.

This will be a very good test for the Sox. As mentioned in a Sale vs Darvish preview this could be another potential playoff matchup.

One maybe two games if the Sox are lucky. Angels are a good team. Facing some pretty tough pitchers name wise. But Haren and Santana haven't been as good this year.

Would love to get out there and see Trout in person.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think the Angels are the class of at least the AL. We get swept.

The only thing keeping the Angels down is their offense. It gets hot and cold, but we all know that getting hot in the playoffs is all you need.

They have the pitching that if their offense got hot, they could easily win the World Series.

Everyone knows you just have to get into the playoffs to have any chance at it. But it's not like all teams are equal once they get there.

I don't understand the question? How hot or cold the Angels are has no affect on how good other teams are, IMO.

Calling their offense hot/cold what would be call the White Sox? I guess what I am getting at is that amongst the AL playoff teams the Angels have one of the better offenses as well as the best pitching.

with that run differential the Tigers really shouldn't even be in contention

You pick them to lose every series except for the one when they're facing a pretty damn good team. Lol

I voted for 1 win out of 3.

The Angels don't scare me. Aside from 2 pitchers, their pitching really isn't as special as everyone is making it out to be. Santana and Haren are average pitchers this year. Their offense has been hot lately but the thing that makes me believe we will lose this series is the pitchers we are throwing out there. No Peavy, no Sale, no Quintana. Our 3 best pitchers not pitching in this specific series = a lost series, IMO. It sets us up for a great series after the Angels tho

.... The Royals are a major pain in the ass for the Sox, unfortunately.
