Good instinct by Shea there. Glad to see him get a sack!

It's like people have not seen Jason Campbell before. His bread and butta has always been TE and RB checks.

I know pre-season is a joke but would it kill this team to come out and actually give their fans something to hang their hat on. I know, I know....vanilla. But every year they suck the wind out of their fanbase with bullshit games in pre-season...leaving us hoping that they aren't nearly as bad as they look. Thankfully, they never are. I guess, it's just Lovie's way.

really?...I thought you could win without scoring

Just finished re-watching the game on NFLN.
The commentating was just awful. I don't know if i'll be able to make it through next week's game.
I only watched OL and DL, so that's what notes i have

    DL:
Wootton was very impressive, he generated at least a little pressure on almost every play, and was very quick off the line. He's making a strong bid to stick around on this team.
Melton struggled, and was only in on 1 and 1/2 drives.
Paea struggled, but when Big Toe came in, and Paea moved to 3-tech, he seemed to play a little better. Something to watch.
Chauncey Davis played 1 drive, but i thought he generated decent pressure.
We have so many good DE's. Ozougwu, McClellin, Davis, and Wootton all played well.
Obv, McClellin looked great, so quick off the edge. Even held his own a few times in the run game, but was more of a liability there.
Price was getting good pressure up the middle, i liked what i saw from him. Nate Collins too. Everyone else at DT sucks, pretty bad.
John McCargo looked really bad. He was getting manhandled 1-on-1 all night.
Cheta Ozougwu is a beast. He and McClellin were a very strong DE combo.

    OL:
Webb actually didn't play as poorly as i thought the first time.
Carimi struggled occasionally on some pass protections, but recovered well.
Chris Spencer was the worst OL out of the starters. Garza and Louis both played well, not sure who was better.
Chilo Rachal was a little disappointing, maybe the Broncos are just really good at attacking LG's
Every play, Chris Williams was either really solid, or really bad. Better pass blocker than run blocker for sure though.
Other than the fumble, Edwin Williams played fairly well. Consistent blocking in both run and pass. Same with Rickey Henry, no complaints.

Overall, our Rookies looked good, and the only injury we had was a minor hamstring to Wright, and he'll be fine. The game wasn't a complete disaster, but there are a lot of things that need work.
Johnny Knox, you will be missed
