He didnt skip them unless he had an injury..he just didnt play more than a series except in the 3rd game.

I went ahead and bought the NFL.com preseason live package for $20. I don't have cable/satellite and this lets me get a football fix. Plus it has all the games and dvr controls to go back and rewatch plays.

In the past Manning did skip preseason games. Doubt he does this season however, probably see him in 2-3 series at the most.
