Andrew Luck's first pass in the NFL(preseason) is a 63-yard TD pass to RB Donald Brown.

    Just throwing this out there.

But watching GB play vs Cleveland tonight. Offense was as is. But so was their defense. Cleveland and their rookie QB had 2 FGs and a TD out of 4 possessions against the GB starters. Their defense will definitely kill them this year. Nick Perry was going against a rookie RT and couldnt get a sniff. Looked very ordinary. Just worth a thought.

The Jets haven't scored a TD in the preseason. It's not going to be a good year in New York.

The Chicago Bears played their 2nd preseason game as they versed the Washington Redskins. The Bears were hoping for a better game than they did against the Denver Broncos as they lost 31-3. However, QB Jay Cutler, DE Julius Peppers, RB Matt Forte and LB Brian Urlacher were held out. Besides Urlacher - Cutler, Peppers and Forte were held out because of the weather conditions. The Bears did have a better game against the Redskins:

The Bears beat the Redskins 33-31.

    Key plays:
    *1st quarter 9:06- Michael Bush scores on a 1-yard rushing touchdown. Bears 7 - Redskins 0.
*1st quarter 0.54- Julius Peppers recovers a fumble. Robert Griffin III fumbled the ball on a sack from Israel Idonije.
    *1st quarter 0:45- Bush with his 2nd rushing touchdown, an 8-yard run. Bears 14 - Redskins 0.
    *2nd quarter 11:06- Robbie Gould 45-yard field goal. Bears 17 - Redskins 0.
    *2nd quarter 6:38- Neil Rackers 28-yard field goal. Bears 17 - Redskins 3.
    *2nd quarter 1:50- Brandon Banks 91-yard punt return. Bears 17 - Redskins 10.
    *2nd quarter 0.07- Robbie Gould 28-yard field goal. Bears 20 - Redskins 10.
    *3rd quarter 14:45- Lorenzo Booker 105-yard kick return touchdown. Bears 27 - Redskins 10.
    *3rd quarter 6:12- Robbie Gould 19-yard field goal. Bears 30 - Redskins 10.
*4th quarter 13:17- Kirk Cousins throws a 5-yard touchdown pass to Niles Paul. Bears 30 - Redskins 17.
*4th quarter 10:06- Kirk Cousins throws a 49-yard touchdown pass to Aldrick Robinson. Bears 30 - Redskins 24
*4th quarter 7:27- John McCargo recovers a fumble from Redskin' Antoine Bailey.
*4th quarter 3:26- Redskin' Reed Doughty forced a fumble from Bear' Chris Summers.
*4th quarter 2:09- Kirk Cousins throws a 20-yard touchdown pass to Dezmon Briscoe. Bears 30 - Redskins 31.
    *4th quarter 0.25:- Robbie Gould kicks a 57-yard field goal. Bears 33 - Redskins 31.
    *Game over - Bears 33 - Redskins 31.

    My observations from the game:
*The offense looks amazing with Jay Cutler throwing, Matt Forte/Michael Bush running, and Brandon Marshall/Devin Hester/Earl Bennett/Alshon Jeffery catching. I bet I'll be able to say that week in, week out for once in my life.
*Hester has looked great and the best I've ever seen him.
*The offensive line actually didn't look bad and hopefully that keeps up.
*The defensive line pressured Griffin for the time he was in and he did not look comfortable.
*Robbie Gould still looks good as gold.
*Hopefully the safety depth is okay, come the regular season.
*The defense looked good for the most of the game, until the 4th quarter. But remember, that's all back-ups and mostly players whom won;t make the team.
*TE Evan Rodriguez has looked great, but if he's going to be featured in the backfield as a fullback, he better get down on his blocks and not pushed backwards.
*Johnathan Wilhite looked very bad and looks like he's on the outside looking in for a roster spot.
*At least Josh McCown is the 3rd string QB now and he did not look great tonight.

    Injuries in-game:
S Chris Conte-shoulder (did not return)
P Adam Podlesh-hip (did not return)
S Brandon Hardin- neck (did not return)
    Inactives:
    LB Brian Urlacher - knee
    DL Stephen Paea - ankle

The Bears will play the New York Giants at 7:00 p.m. CT on Friday (August 24th) in their 3rd preseason game.
